Okies, well went to see her today, and she is simply stunning, gentle as a lamb and really everything they said she was. Her conformation is very good, her trot is lovely, and she was better than i expected to lead. Very respectful of my space, not at all bargy. We picked all her feet up, she gave us trouble with the backs and kicked out, but my friend persevered and she was fine. We popped her in a stable, no trouble. She is on her own at the moment since her field-mate has gone to a new home. She was very cuddly for a mare too - a real change from my haflinger mare who was quite standoffish!
I do apologise for having no pictures, but I am having her vetted early next week, and I will be sure to take a camera with me so you can see her and judge for yourselves.
I promised myself that I would not buy the first pony I saw... but, I think she could be wonderful. My friend will help me to back her, and as she is way under my budget, I will have plenty left to have lots of lessons and so get the best out of our partnership.
Im so excited I feel numb
This summer has gone from horrible (my current pony being put to sleep) to.. well, this! Must not count my chickens etc though, I will be gutted if she fails the vetting
Huge thankyou to all who have given me advice and encouragement, it means a lot
