How much would you have as the max. weight it could carry?

You? I think your riding always looks really nicely balanced. I can't see that being a problem tbh. These little ones are fundamentally built for it!

You thinking of indulging?

I think you would be fine on him. I would put up to 9 stone on Millie and she is only 12hh.

He will match the rest of your driving ponies really well, Is that what you are hoping to do with him?

Not sure how balanced I am, but I'm very used to riding a selection of 13.1-13.3 similar ponies if that makes a difference

Hopfully- If he turns out quiet I can sell him to my sister, or if he is mad Dad will have him. Even if he doesn't match I'm hoping to compete him through the indoor season as Pip isn't doing indoors this year, and then sell on. If it moves as well as it looks and is straightfowards there might be a Pip looking for a home

TBH I'm sure we can find a use for him

If he doesn't like driving I'll get him out and about riding and sell him on.

Woohoo! Lovely, looks like a nice person!

Honestly I wouldn't say it if I didn't mean it, the pics I have seen of you schooling and doing tests you look like a really nice thoughtful rider. It'sll be fine.

He'll be better off with you than an 8 stone novice won't he?

(Thats not a rhetorical question by the way!)

When do you get him? Waiting for vet?

Fantastic!

Well for that price he has to be worth a risk IMO. I think he looks like a nice honest pony. You'll have fun with him whatever you end up doing with him!

It's not like you don't know what you're doing with his type is it!

My mum was shouting at me for doing it, saying it probably has a bad temperament, but I pointed out it is unlikely to be as nervous as Fred, Cheeky/Naughty as Brook, Unpredictable as Pip or Fizzy as Rory and she decided I had a point.

Its actually only a PB, with a show pony Dad, but I think it is a litte like Pip, but with the looks of Brook, which I have always said would be my ideal pony.
