If this weekends viewing doesnt go well I am thinking of going further afield to look at this little chap.

Any thoughs on his confo etc. His job of work would be an allround RC horse for my big daughter (bit of showing, D, xc etc) and for me to hack and have lessons when my old girl retires. We like cobs/maxicob types. I quite like a couple of others on their site too which might make it worth the trip.

Ohh, I like him! The way he goes a smidge overbent in some pics reminds me of my girl and so I wonder if he could be a little heavy and on the forehand sometimes? Would just be something to refine with schooling, but if he is easy off your leg like they say then it should be a doddle. I do like his face too, seems kind (or perhaps that's just his butter wouldn't melt look!).

I think he would be very smart I would have to take off all the hair though:D Only other comment is that he looks smaller than 15 hands, my guess would be nearer 14.2 looking at how he moves on the video more pony stride than horse.

And who exactly has made such comments?
This is a friendly thread....

Aha I think I see where you're coming from, s4sugar. Some further investigation required before I head off up to see them, then!

Lovely love this type....Ah dont hog him he will need the shade in the summer! His mane is too good to hog!

Good luck its a nightmare trying to find something. I would ring Farringtons in case someone treads on your toes now. They seem to have a good reputation. Much good luck is sent to you...I gave up!

nice enough, but be cautious of the front feet, typical upright feet completely unmatched to the pasterns, you see it a lot on gypsy cobs that are broken to drive too young. Also not keen on the quarters, very disconnected. a little weak, and also quite bum high.
