Well, I can't remember the last time I posted a picture of The Gay One on here and seeing as he seems all grown up now I thought it was high time for a few!!

So, for those of you that haven't met him before, this is Bailey otherwise known as The Gay One because he loves the boys :D He will be 3 and 1/2 on November 9th and is a Sports Horse.

I saw him at 5 weeks old (deposit!) and at just over 5 months old he was brought home and we have just had our 3 year ownerversary :D we have always done a lot of "playing" with obstacles etc, especially when he was recovering from a serious eye problem, and he is doing well at learning to lunge, long rein and likes his tack!

I am going to carry on with the teaching of the above and then next February my YO will be doing the "backing proper" so to speak.

He is my absolute pride and joy, my everything. He is so sweet natured, gentle and easy going...but a little bit "spethial" at the same time!

Sorry the pics aren't the best - light was fading and the tie up area on the yard isn't the flatest so if he looks a tad wonky, he is on a slope!

So, what do you think?

I love the contrast of dark and light, jet black mane/tail and dark legs, also
the fact he is spethial :D

His colouring is a weird one. To me he is dun and I always refer to him as that - is also on passport and can't be @rsed with buckskin etc...far too technical :D

When his coat changes, he goes darker then lighter then dapply then lighter...I don't know what to expect half the time lol.

And he is DEFINITELY a little bit spethial. Maybe more. It is actually to the point where my YO and I are trying to arrange a "Spethial Class" for a little show. I am going to make rosettes and colour them with crayon. We only have one other horse who will compete so I think Bailey will come 2nd out of two :D

I really like him!!

His colour is lovely, he's looks to be in really good shape health wise, Clean strong legs and from the pic's he looks to have good conformation.

(I'm no expert, but i think he's smashing!)

Thank you very much :D

I am really happy with how he is looking going into winter; he is maturing nicely and is "chunking" out across his chest and body. He has just about got his winter coat now too, so he shouldn't get too woolly.
