I am sat at home with Swine Flu and feeling pants - So I thought I would ask what you all pay for your livery!

What do you pay and what do you get for your livery?
xx

DIY £38 a week
Use of field, stable, 3xschools and wash boxes. Only thing that price ibcludes is that they feed and hay your horse at 7am if you leave it out

£25 a week for DIY. Have v.good facilities including huge indoor and outdoor schools, shows on site, etc.

£60 per calander month DIY

Includes an indoor barn shared with 4 other liveries. Plenty of storage space. 24/7turnout. Hay and straw. Fantastic hacking. Owners live on site so pretty secure. Secure tack room.

what a contrast!!! £60 a month??!!! where??!!
i pay £150 a month for DIY, nothing included apart from will give brekkie if you leave it out, and late night checks. owner on site, decent school, lunge arena and horsewalker, turnout a bit pants as not much ground. seems to be the standart rate round here (or so i thought!!!)

I pay £10 per week which includes Stable field, I then have to get my own straw and Hay, pay an extra £6 for the school, and pay for the Water Bill, Electric Bill and for the muck heap to be moved once a month which is 20 pounds

£35 a week at current yard which is stable (rubber matted), field, use of horse walker, wash box, lorry parking, sand and rubber menage. It is a lovely yard but just too far from home and is costing me a bomb as I have to pay someone to bring Lucky in for me

SO am moving to a yard which is more expensive in winter, but cheaper in summer
wink.gif
Winter livery is inclusive of Hay, bedding, field use of school and XC course when it is open. Summer livery is just field and stable, and use of XC course. There is also access to m,iles of off road hacking which makes life alot easier!! Livery does seem to b in short supply around us

Our yard is a working farm so plenty of TO,hay and straw on site. Forgot to add we also have a large floodlit school than nodoby ever uses! It used to be £55 per calander month but he increased the price by £5 and there was outrage on the yard when he did so lol!!

£25 per week DIY. This includes turnout/bring in Monday-Friday. We have an all weather floodlit arena, small xc course, good hacking and all year turnout. So not bad at all really.

£148 a month DIY with unlimited haylage, field, new massive flood lite school, sand school for lunging and turning out in winter and a personal locker and some of the best hacking in the area.

I rent my field, which is on a 20 are plot. its £10 an acre a week. yes very cheap but no electric,do have water but have to do all fencing and if you want stables etc have to build them but cant have anything permanent

£42 a week which includes hay and feed put in 5 days a week, 1 bale of shavings and the share of 1 big round bale of haylage (share it with one other person). We have all weather floodlit arena which is being extended in spring, full set of jumps, turnout 24/7 from may to november split into mares and geldings, individual t/o available if required. Sand paddock to turn out in when mucking out, the most amazing hacking, and turnout for 4 hours a day in winter. We also have some stables with individual tackrooms, other stables with tackroom shared between 3 or 4 people. Wonderful YO and lovely atmosphere on the yard, minimal bitching and everyone gets on - there about 60 horses on the yard so if you dont get on its easy enough to keep out of eachother way!

Can you tell i love my yard

I rent my own field with stables and pay £10 week per horse, however I do all maintenance on the place. I have 7 acres, 2 stables and a tackroom/feed store. Its like my second home, I love pottering about foing bits and pieces!

Simsar £1 a year!????

Sorry to go OT, but how did you know you had swine flu? I've just got over a normal cold, about 2 hours ago sitting at the computer gone really freezing with the shivers, feeling sick, everything. Took some flu tablets and went to sleep for 1/2 hour, woke up and feeling nearly normal (bit hot though).

To stay on topic, £200 a week for a 6 acre field with 4 ponies on. No stables but the owner has some she would let me use if we needed them. No electricity or water. Fantastic hacks

£25 a week, includes unlimited hay and straw, massive field and stable plus we're on the New Forest so amazing hacking (when its not peeing it down constantly turning the Forest into one massive bog!)

£132 per week - seven day full livery includes exercise / schooling when I am not riding, clipping (rather apt at this time of year!!) and plaiting etc for competitions.

£108pm for DIY, good stables, individual turnout, plenty of storage, decent sand and rubber school, hacking on farm. Lorry parking extra, farmer supplies hay and straw but at same price as he does to other local yards.

Urgh, thanks - can't think of anything else it could be. Went to a Christmas meal at the weekend, on Monday one of my friends came down with the flu so I reckon she was incubating it and secretly infecting us all without knowing!
