She seems to have very upright pasterns to me..rear ones...

and down at the front....

not something i'd fancy buying TBH.....

She looks a nice friendly girl, but I am no use for conformation and standing on a slope doesn't help.

Sorry- i didnt mention her front foot is wrapped up in a poultice as she had a corn after the farrier put new shoes on so off they came and they are off for the next week.

Just some fun stuff, RC & PC etc.

Shes done a bit, i believe shes jumped and is taken out alot although i dont think shes been to many shows.

her natural way of standing with her hindlegs way out behind her rather than underneath her, would put me off a bit tbh.
i don't like the front legs either really. very sorry!
if she's a lovely good tempered willing little mare, and your friend doesn't want to do a lot, then fine... just remember how frustrating and expensive the unsound ones can be...

she looks sweet - not my cup of tea though!

If she is just looking to have a little fun - dont necessarily need to get too hung up om confirmation, but her legs arent the best

Not a horse I would look at.... looks very weak behind and could have spavins given the rocking horse stance....

weak in the neck and quite a common head.... could just be the way she is standing but pasterns are upright at the back too!!

Sorry, I think your friend could do better

From the piccies she doesn't have the best conformation but she looks to have a nice kind eye and if she can do a little of everything, doesn't have a history of lameness, is being sold by someone you trust and is the right price and your friend really likes her then go for it! A friend of mine recently bought a mare even after she'd asked my opinion and I pointed out her conformation faults. My friend is now aware of them but the mare is pretty, very safe and a joy to do and that's what my friend wanted. Personally, I would not have bought her because she's got a history of lameness but she deserves a good home.

abby doesn't have great confo but she's great for a bit of everything, thats why she didn't get so far in the eventing circuit cause she's unlevel behind and looked a bit messy in dressage, i love her with all her little flaws.

imo if there is no history of lameness i would consider her for a fun wee horse i think she's very very pretty!! defo my cup of tea!!!
