Usually a lot more than I should!!! Buy feed, tack, treats (for him) and somehow can never leave there without a packet of his favourite treat biscuits:D

i honestly will very rarely buy things in store anymore I get things online instead. The things though that I will still buy instore are things like hats, body protectors and gloves that I need to know fit and any stuff needed in a rush i.e. vetwrap, poultices etc. BUT if after a particular thing like a make of bridle I will go hunting for the best deal and that will normally be online.

I'll only ever usually buy things that need to be fitted from a tack shop, although I do sometimes just try on in the tach shop and then buy online. And I get my feed from the tack shop! I find most things are cheaper online!

Mostly feed plus lotions and potions. I bought a bridle recently which proved unsuitable, so took it back and swapped for another.

Once I know what suits me and the horse, I tend to shop online for better bargains.

It's tough out there for the small shopkeeper! But I have to make the best use of what pennies I have.

If I go to a tack shop (tbh, I prefer online shopping, I am not distracted plus the savings compared to walking into a store are great), I will generally purchased supplements and if there is anything blingy, that also comes home with me ;)

Stuff that is too small to justify postage - martingale stops and bungs, lead ropes, fleece saddle cover.

Most of the larger stuff - barring my saddle - comes from t'interpipe as more bargains to be had there.

What do I wish they stocked...? Exhibitor Labs and Cowboy Magic, larger selection of rugs. Can't think of anything else right at this second.

I only ever buy things I need immediately in a tack shop, otherwise I buy online as it's cheaper.
Things I wish my local tack shops stocked would be decent quality leatherwork.

Nothing! We have several tack/horsey shops around here of which only one is any good but is the furthest drive away. The two closest never have anything in that I want... one only sells "premium brands", ie is very expensive, and has little choice. The other is a total waste of time, though apparently they've just been bought out so maybe things will improve. The staff don't know anything about the things they sell, only stock NAF products (which I don't like), and have very little choice in terms of clothing, tack and shoes. They don't know anything about the feeds they stock, are never willing to order anything else in, and when you do order something (tack/accessories), it takes them 6 weeks to even bother to call and let you know they can't get it!

Other than that, we have Countrywide about half an hour away which is OK but not my favourite. I tend to buy online because at least I have more choice that way.

I dare't go in my tack shop - I can get carried away - so got husband call in with the premiss of just buying mane and tail stuff and a bag of supplement. He managed to also get a rug repair kit too - just in case!?
Now back from yard and reading said repair kit instructions as turnout has large rip!:D
