What do you class as a project horse?

wow things must have changed. I have never seen a project horse as being a bad horse. I have sold a few as projects, ones I dont have time to get going fully, never a bad horse, just green and needing some work!

I wouldn't say our lad was bad at all. He has never put his ears back, but he was frightened of whips , being approached suddenly from behind and strangers. He had been in the hands of dealers and the meat man for a couple of months after an idyllic, sheltered life as an oversized pet and companion to another horse since a yearling, before being reluctantly moved on. (Ill health)

I wish we could talk to him! Wouldn't life be simpler.
