Boots or gaiters and boots? I currently have Ariat gaiters and boots as I prefer jumping in them. What are the best long boots or gaiters and boots?

I compete and hunt in gaiters and boots, long boots do look smarter "close up", but tbh from the distance you can't really tell the difference!

Personal preference but rather than spend more money I'd stick with what you've got. They are fine.

I wear long boots because I think they look smarter, but I much prefer gaiters and short boots as long boots just never seem to fit me properly.

I love my Ariat boots and gaiters. I bought my first proper long boots a month ago - Ariat Bromonts mainly to keep my feet cosy at winter comps! They certainly do the job, however unfortunately I seem to have quite short legs so they come up too tall

So I guess it depends on your leg, long boots are often a standard length etc. so if you fit them then great! Id just make sure they are really soft leather long boots.

ariat devon pro's and ariat gaitors... everyone asks me where my long boots are from so you obviously cant tell until close up, spur strap usually covers the edge of the gaitor too. they are smart and comfortable, i just cant get on with long boots.
