What do you do to keep warm whilst riding?

Which gilets do you wear please? Been looking for a good thin one to layer!

I've got a red softshell gilet from Pikeur and an HV Polo one which is called Tango Red but is actually pink. I have a Musto Zara one too but it's not as body fitting suitable for under shaped jackets even though it's a similar thickness.

By the way, the Aldi thermals come up *really* small - half my yard bought them on the same weekend and they were all too small.

I ride out in a slightly bigger hat in winter so I can fit a thin wooly hat or hoodie underneath.

I start legging up for the endurance season during our winter and I wear the Irideon thermal jodhs. I ride at night during the winter, not quite -15, but generally close to zero and these are great. A knitted woollen head band to keep my ears warm, padded gloves, ski jacket and fleecy lined boots. They are not generally used for riding, and probably a no-no, but I ride with ezi ride endurance stirrups so have plenty of room. The only bit left to get really cold is my nose.
