Me and sis try to do as much variety as possible with Pidge and Sunny, so we school, lunge, jump, hack, XC jumps, take them over Cannock Chase for long hacks

I ride at the weekends and on the weekends when there isn't a small competition on I hack, school and occasionally jump.

I also go for flat, SJ lessons and x country schooling as often as possible. Have also been to a few Trec things which are fun.

I love hacking out, it's a good stress buster. April is very independent unlike my old horse and we go out together for miles

Hmmmm....for the last week, I have been concentrating on my dissertation, so the pony has been out ripping her expensive rugs (you know, somehow, snaps both back leg straps and all else done up, yet rug is at other end of field)

Normally, riding 4x per week, 2 hacks, one schooling session, and one lunge. We are quite relaxed, turning a bit into happy hackers, but enjoying it.

The thing that I do most with the gee gees is schooling for dressage, but they do get hacked/jumped once a week and lunged once a week as well so guess they all count as regular things but their job is stressage

I mainly hack as 20 year old TB's now getting arthritis so have stopped jumping him and maybe school him once a week, not doing too many small circles. I also lunge him if the weather's bad, but tend to lunge him round the school a few laps before I put him on the circle so there's not quite so much pressure on his joints.

Mainly BSJA but obviously i have to school about 3 times a week inc flatwork lesson and jump once a week (usually a jumping lesson) plus a show

I like to try and hack them at least once a week and then they get a day or two off and some turn out so they can chill for abit.

Wash poo off its face and neck (can I start an anti-greys group?).

School, go to clinics, go to shows, hack around the farm a bit, go for lessons at other places. Lunge if absolutely necessary - she turns into a complete nutter.

She's very contented in her new home, but likes her outings too.

I try to do a bit of everything (ok at a fairly low level) and have fun, I just love being around him and sometimes take him for in-hand walks and chat to him - people must think I'm stark raving mad, but he's my pal!!

I love how much you obviously care for George, it really comes across in your posts. He looks like such a gent

School, hack and jump.

Also will do a bit of small XC and local unaff competitions. I find lunging really dull so he gets lunged about 4 x a year.

I would absolutely love to do driving with him, but I haven't got the extra time, money or know-how.

Almost all the above!

Pip- Hacking( ridden and driven) , schooling(ridden and driven), lunge, loose school, jump, driving and competing

Rory- Hacking(driven), Schooling(driven), lunge, loose school, jump(loose schooling), driving and competing

Ginga- Schooling(ridden), lunge, jump, XC jumps most months, Edurance most months, driving and competing(driven)

With Stitch?. Pay the vet! (last month is the first since August I haven't has a bill to pay - I only got him in August!).

I part loan an oldie with arthritis and we just hack.

Ponio gets lunged 2 - 3 times a week and walked in hand up the hill 3 times a week.

TBx is lunged during the week with either monday or wednesday off (sometimes both) then ridden at the weekends. She isn't safe hacking so mostly schooling - no jumping until the all clear from back lady

Won't do same thing more then twice in a week and same thing twice in a row (Bar hack some times but different routes)

Flatwork schooling in menage
Schooling over coloured fences in menage
Schooling in the field
Jumping in the field
Hacking
Gallops
Lunging
Loose schooling

This weekend I have cross country, next dressage and then showjumping.

I'm realy careful to vary things and avoid souring. I only jump about 3 times a month. School about 4/5.

young and green and my bl***dy saddle hasn't come yet - tho' rumour is it's arriving Monday, only 8 weeks after order, so it better be good.

so for 8 weeks, we've long-reined in every way I can think of - we did a full walk/trot test the other day, which was harder than I thought it would be - judging the markers from behind is nasty and getting a straight line from A - X was impossible...

and we walk out in hand a lot - and today long-reined out in hand for 3 miles through the scary village and past the horse-eating log yard where they work with chain saws to butcher careless ponies who go past without realising how savage they are (! - so we walked past quietly today - but then the chainsaws were off) - AND we walked past a landrover with a trailer full of ewes and pony-eating lambs. Miracles...

when we have a saddle, we'll school, hack, train for endurance and start some TREC. In my dreams...
