to be honest I would be happy to have ago at anything I thought I could manage/enjoy, but at the moment it is very low level dressage, lessons, hacking and a few v.small tentative jumps!
As I currently have the two 7-month old foals, I don't do anything other than look after them and do basic groundwork stuff like leading, tying-up, picking up/picking out feet etc. The mother of one of them has gone off to be ridden and schooled as I don't ride any more and will hopefully be sold in the spring.
Primarily affiliated dressage with Lou, and unaff dressage with Eric, but also do a bit of sj'ing, x country and hacking, etc to give them a break from schooling
Currently nothing as she's injured. We used to do unaffiliated prelim dressage, and we were starting to jump 2'3" SJ and were aiming to do some 2'3" ODEs. She'll likely only ever hack again so she'll be a hacking/ sponsored rides pony for someone.
I am planning to buy a horse next year and I want to SJ up to 2'9", do affiliated dressage, XC up to 2'6", and small ODEs.
I always hack my horses as well, and I go on sponsored rides for a bit of fun sometimes!
I'm just left with one now and he's only 18 months so we just play pony at the moment. My plans for Stitch are just to see what happens although I am hoping he has potential to be an allrounder and would love to find the courage to dressage and endurance ride. But will be very happy just to get a sound, sane rideable horse to hack around the lanes.
In the past I've hacked, done pleasure rides and EGB training rides and that's about it.
With my last horse I finally got the courage to start jumping and was hoping to do some local competitions, however, sadly he was PTS last month.
