This should probs be in the careers section but i thought i'd get more response in here. So what careers do you all have, horsey or non horsey?
I am a support worker for adults with learning disabilities and mental health issues and i really enjoy it. It can be really draining at times (Physically but especially mentally) but i dont see myself doing anything else now. I'd love to work with horses (Studied horses at college) but i've gotten so used to the money i am earning now it wouldnt be financially wise for me to change. I look forward to hearing your replies!

Hi Pinkerton - I work as training mgr for a national housing charity. Absolutely zilch to do with horses but the salary means that I can afford to keep a horse which in turn gives me that magical "work/life balance"! I only started horse riding when other (saner) people are taking up knitting so that's my excuse! Dreams sometimes take a little longer than we would like but they CAN come true in the end so never give up hoping!

I am Team Leader for Procurement department for an outsourcing IT company. I love my job

Tried working with horses, but the wages did not allow for the mortgage and food !!
