As title, would be interested to know what everyone feeds?

My horse is prone to lami, at the mo he just gets Hi Fi Lite but I feel he needs a bit more energy.

Suggestions?

Thank you! x

happy hoof, garlic and oil. after exercise and hes on restricted grazing.

hi fi lite and hi fibre cubes and garlic. obviously restricted grazing but supplemented with hay.

Handful of Dengie Good Doer, and Equivite Original supplement. She's certainly not lacking energy though so I can;t suggest what to feed for that!
I would suggest you contact a feed helpline

try and keep to a high fibre diet. if he needs more oomph why not try adding some unmollased fibre beet.
the rule of thumb is to steer away from sugar.
also if you aren't feeding magnesium (which is needed) i would strongly recommend that you feed daily. grass lacks it at this time of year.

if you need more energy use alfa a lite.....is very good and safe for laminitics.
