What do you feed?

My mare is out 24/7 and I've been (successfully) been trying to get some weight on her. She is now its too dark to ride before work (winter regine

) only ridden 3 times a week. She has 2 haynets a day, both with 3/4 slices in and 2 feeds of:

3/4 scoop Alfa A
3/4 scoop Speedibeet
3/4 scoop of D&H 16+ Conditioning Mix
Newmarket Hoof Supplement
2 scoops garlic
couple of apples and carrots (sometimes in dinner, sometimes as treats)

She has put on weight slowly and steadily and is now not so ribby

My 30 yo TB x polish Arab gets

1 scoop Mollie Extra
1 scoop 16 plus cubes
1/2 scoop sugarbeet
1 mug TopSpec
cider vinegar
splash of oil

he has this twice a day
 
My broodmares get D&H High Fibre Cubes, Alfa A and beet in the winter, and 3 months prior to foaling the cubes get swopped for D&H stud mix

Youngstock get Alfa A, beet and D&H Suregrow

The show horses get as a minimum
Beet, bran, Alfa A, Spillers Conditioning Cubes and A&P Calm & Condition and instant linseed, plus CLO in the morning and Kossolain Blood Salts at night (and Cortaflex for one or two)
The ones the boss feels need more condition get A&P Weight Gain as well and her broodmares and youngstock get Baileys stud mix. Needless to say her feed bill is higher than mine!
 
16.2hh 11year old wb who is exercsised 5-6 times p/w.
Has 2 feeds - am & pm of:
1 heaped scoop of dengie hifi
1/2 scoop baileys working cubes
1/3 scoop baileys all rounder mix
Biotin & biotal equine gold supplements
Parsnips, carrots, apples, etc
(+1 slice of the big bale haylage at night)
 
Ellie is in light work (non competition), so at present she has:

Half scoop of D&H pasture mix
Half scoop of Baileys conditioning cubes
Half scoop bran
Half scoop sugar beet
Handful of chaff
Spoonful of garlic
Spoonful of camomile flowers
Spoonful of mint
Spoonful of seaweed
And a sliced carrot!

The 29 and 30 year olds get
1 scoop oats
1 scoop alfa a
1 scoop bran
linseed
arnica,ruta rhus tox

And the lami pony gets
1 scoop happy hoof
linseed
half scoop bran
chasteberry for her hormones

i'm amazed at how complicated some of these diets are for our horses! i know some have special needs (lami, old, poorly, excitable etc) but horse feed companies go on and on about having a diet to suit most horses!

or are we just a bunch of special needs horse owners? (the horses special needs not us.... or maybe i had it right first time!?!)
 
D is 16.2hh retired Irish TB and he has....
Three quarters scoop of Alfa-A
Half scoop of D & H Build up
2 Equilibrium cupfulls of Speedi beet
He is in at night with wet hay (due to hobday) and am currently seeking another joint supp!

Monty is a 17hh, 6yo, saddlebred x who is currently in light work (due to me not being able to ride for the next 21 days and counting

Three quarters scoop of D&H High Fibre Nuts
With a lorry load of hay @ night:o
