I need a brown hunter/showing bridle.. you think I'd get away with this one?? Thinking his head would look nicer init then plain flat but what to do affiliating so need be correct!

Have a look at the Jeffries Wembley bridle, they are very reasonable. I bought one for my hunter mare a few years ago for about £55, still as good as new. They have a flat plain caveson noseband which is what you need for hunter classes.

A raised noseband is more appropriate for working hunter (with a flash) or dressage. How big is your horse? You would probably want something around the 1 1/2 inch mark for width in havana for showing. Hope thats some help!

I have this bridle for Cairo - very nice for everyday use and competing SJ etc, but if I were going into a showing class, I would like something more traditional with a flat noseband.
