I have never qualified for the BD regionals (due to time and money constraints), so this year I am hoping to qualify for the Winters at Novice and hopefully Elementary too. I would really like to have done a couple of Medium tests by the end of the year too. (We have beeing geting 72% plus at Novice recently and he is working at Medium at home, so I am hoping this is realistic but ambitious!)

I would like to get a youngster too, but will have to hold fire on this now.

I would also like to do some jumping for fun while my horse at home too.

I'd love to hear about your goals.

I hope to get Jerry to the point where I am not embarressed to take him out in public

I was planning on maybe getting him ready to do a couple of intros at the end of the season, but we are now planning to start his eventing career next spring.

With Spook, I just want to get him desensitised and all the ground work done so he is ready to back next year

i would like to think that ellie and i can achieve a top 3 place at Prelim level, and that we begin to get marks over 65% consistently. not much i know, but we are dressage newbies!

(next year, i want to qualify for trailblazers

Qualify for and enter the Royal London Show

Get placed at Moorgreen show

Compete in ridden hunters at our local ploughing matches -

I think that fills our weekends through September - then the hunting season begins

My goal, short term, is to get round a clear round course of 1ft 9 to 2ft at our local show this Sunday!!! By the end of the year I would like to be out jumping a proper course of 2ft 6 at other shows.

Before the end of the year I want to be able to get a dressage in the 30s, which is very achievable if she is calm, howeveer it is the calmness that is the problem! I also want to try and get her to Intro standard, although we wont be able to afford it or travel to BE while my sis has cancer, it would be nice to know I could! I want to complete the PC Novice Area horse trails without looking like an idiot!

To go double clear at the area intermediate horse trials on 10th August on Tara

and maybe do a few Atumn BE events oon her (just intro, maybe one or two pre novices). Oh and qualify for the finals of the 90cm amatuer qualifiers (sj)

and to conquer harrys bucking problem (Getting there!) and sell him by the end of the year

I want to fix my canter problem as soon as possible. Other than that, I would like to get a clear round rosette, get to our first ever show, attempt the XC at Riding Club Camp in Oct, do a dressage test and show off my magnificent horse as much as possible!!! (Hasten to add, I know I may be the only person on the planet that thinks he's magnificent - need to show him off to see if I'm the only person with that opinion or not!!!!

Crispin- to catch him!

Tricks- that he is still here and sound
frown.gif

Dozzer- to be able to maintain canter well enough to do a test and maybe to also jump her a bit.
Small - would be good to get her driving again, trouble is she struggles to get in the landrover!!

I will be taking Titch to Cricklands in August and it will be he last ever SJ competition
frown.gif
although he can still have some fun next year doing XC etc, I hope that he will at least be placed and not ditched me on the floor!!

With the new one coming tomorrow I dont have any goals other than getting to know him over the rest of the year and maybe getting out and about not scaring him too much!

I think keeping him alive will be the biggest achievement, when he was diagnosed with Cushings 5 years ago I was told he would probably only live 2-5 years on medication...

Assuming I manage to do that I hope our dressage training will have progressed and he will be confident doing half pass.

It would also be nice if we could become more consistent in dressage competitions!

i want to be a confident jumper, and be able to jump 2ft 6 with frankie

id like to take him to a few training clinics

my lower leg position well and truly sorted

id love it if i could move frankie, because like bex i hate the hacking! dont mind hacking out but wish it was rolling country and not lorries and the like!

Frankie does not like it either, i asked him

1. Actually be able to make it to an intro BE event I have entered and not have it cancelled...!
2. Manage a double clear at said intro, ideally with decent dressage and top 10 placing to match with a view to going PN by the end of the season.
3. Register, enter and compete at affiliated dressage competition by the end of the year with a view to qualifying for regional championships if I can work out how the hell the qualifying system works!
4. Jump a clear round at a BSJA competition at Newcomer/Discovery level by Christmas.

Have a happy horse around SJing, ideally witha double clear at Intro, and possibly a PN. Most importantly for him to be feeling confident though, so would be happy if he is ready to go PN start of next year.... re qualify for Dr and Sjing trailblazers, have done both but forgot to send forms off.....

To be able to canter confidently on both reins in the school and to pop over a very small jump. More importantly I want to have built on the bond that George and I have now.

Maiden - to not get any more lame (getting more sound would be a bonus!)
Cookie - to jump 3' at home, to do some 2'3" and 2'6" competitions, and to do an affiliated novice on a day ticket *if* I can persuade his owner I'm not just allowed to take him to jumping competitions and can do dressage too!

By the end of the year i hope to still have a healthy pregnant Blossy.

My aim with Archie is to qualify him for the Elementary Restricted Winter Regionals, and also have done a few Mediums by the end of the year. I want him to be schooling at advanced level by the end of the year - with his changes established and half pass established aswell.

I would love to be placed at the BSPA Champs in August in the youngstock - Stinky's last year of doing this.

I also hope to have him nicely hacking out for up to 30 mins and establish a good walk and maybe trot in the school, but no hurry with this.

Mines is simple, to get horse to work in consistantly in an outline, & to get the correct canter leads everytime!
Go to hunting as ive never been!

Long term it would be lovely to qualify for CHAPS and BSPA champs. Oh and do a ODE with her!!
