What do you pay for farrier? (South)

£100 full set West Sussex, last farrier was £112 inc VAT for a full set (moved as I wasn't happy with feet rather than cost)
I don't know anyone on the yard who pays less than £100 a full set, due to our hacking pretty much all are shod all round and we use about 6 farriers I can think of off the top of my head

I was looking back at old records and I paid £73 back in 2008 and pay £90 now. Compare that to the same trainer I use who was £25 then and is £50 now so shoes really haven’t gone up as much as a lot of other things in comparison. Horse cubes is another which is scary. £5.85 in 2008 and now £15

Somerset/Wiltshire - £90 for a full set and he really takes his time and shoes according to X-rays. If he knows the vet is coming he will spend a lot longer!

Hertfordshire, trim £25 fronts £45 set £85. If you pay by bank transfer it’s more as you pay the tax on top.
Mine is happy to take bacs, it's exactly the same cost if his clients pay bacs or cash.
Your farrier needs a word in his ear before he gets in major trouble.

I pay £90 for a new set and £30 for a trim.
Just wanted to add, I think my farrier is worth every penny, he's patient, reliable, a good time keeper and my horse's feet have been complimented by equine professionals across many fields during extensive veterinary investigations.
Also, a friend is in hospital with a fracture after a fall. A nurse commented jokingly about crazy horse riders, and my friend replied with, " I bet this ward is full of young lads who've come off their motorbikes". The nurse told her that the most patients in from the same cause they currently had on the ward was 6 farriers...
