what do you plan with your horse this winter ?

HUNTIIINNGG!! Hurrahhh! Bringing my new youngster back into work and bringing him on veerryy slowly because I don't think he's ever going to stop growing!

Clipping is one of my favourite things in the world... so my lot get clipped once a week in winter to keep them looking uber sexy at all times...

Much as I love summer, to me there is nothing nicer than bringing my horses into the yard in the pitch black in a gale at 8pm, washing their legs/tummies of etc. and putting them into sparkling clean boxes with big, deep beds, lots of haylage, and nice warm feed!
 
I'm planning on taking my boy (he's 11) out hunting as often as possible this season! We went out last season for the first time and loved it! Unfortunately, we only managed to get out twice last season due to the snow so hopefully we should be able so get out to a few more this season. With my other boy, (he's 7) I plan on continuing his schooling and maybe get him out to a few local shows. :)

I'll also be doing some BSJA stuff, lots of hunter trials and schooling to hopefully move up a gear to Elementary once next Summer is upon us. I've gotta manage all of that whilst also - hopefully! - managing my first year of university.
