What do you think ever 4 days means? (Also in Vet)

I have to give Lolly an "Adequan" injection once every 4 days to a total of 7 injections. Now does that mean: If I give it on Monday, then the next is on Thursday (The 4th day, with 3 days in between)

or On Friday which is 4 full 24 hours?

Anyone else given these injections?

My friend as just completed a course of these injections and she had to start on a monday and the next one was due on the thursday but if your unsure just give your vet a call and i,m sure he will confirm what you should do : )

I would say if you are not sure - then check with your vet.

Personally I would read this as the 1st jab on mon, 2nd on thurs - but best to check.

i'd say Monday, Thursday, Sunday, but check with vet definitely.

Every four days means on every fourth day, so Monday, Thursday etc.

If it is every 4 days then Monday is day one, Tuesday day 2, Wednesday day 3 and Thursday day 4.

If it says give 1 dose then another 4 days later, then I would say the second dose would be Friday. For the OP though I think the second dose is Thursday.

yes, there's a difference between "every 4th day" and "after 4 days" i think, but it definitely needs clarifying!

I am with Friday. I don't count the day I jab as day one. Rather I count the next day as being the first day (as it is the first full day afterwards)

So If it is every other day then it would be Monday then Wednesday
Every three days Monday then Thursday
Every four Monday then Friday.

But yes, check with your vet!

HOWEVER, when others have had the vet come out do the injections the vet would come Monday and Thursday each week so only 3 days between first and second but then next one was on what I'd call the 5th day. So I guess it doesn't really matter that much whether there are 3 or 4 days between.
