I think something like an IDxTB is a great cross! But i personally love Anglo Arabs...may be a bit biased because thats what my boy is hehe. I also like Welsh x Arabs
Yup i have to agree that its IDxTB all the way for me. They have everything! Looks, build, stamina, temperament and most of all they are versatile, turn they're hoof to anything!
Depends what you want I too like ID x TB such good temperaments and can do any job
but if you want something a bit 'more' very often WC x TB lovely types but sometimes too sharp to too smart/stubborn for their own good, again can do any job tho
Obviously there are always the odd one or two that defy the norm.
Anything with clydesdale or shire cross in it always has such a lovely tempermant, and decent bone too, whilst still being athletic. CD x TB prob my favourite.
Have to say I've met plenty of stubbord and opinionate ID xTB's. Beautiful and talented but a pain in the ass.
Welsh D crosses have all been drama queens, without exception so far!
I have just put my irish coloured cob to a hanavarian stallion i hope this will be a good x what do you think they both have good temps and both have good confirmation. Hopefully my baby will just be a nice allrounder like mum.
I really like the temperament of my ID x TB so that would be in my opinion the best cross. Though i do love my sec d x tb aswell he was a great personality so either of the too really.
Connie x tb was my best one ever x x x Rest in peace my little one x x x
But now I have an Arab x Cob and she is a darling - not going to win hickstead but a really happy friendly polite person who loves going out and doing stuff
I like most tb x natives.
I've had a tb x highland, tb x welsh and current horse is tb x fell.
I like the native brain with the tb agility and they tend to be a good size for me.
I do like tb x id, but for me they are a bit too grown up - I like that bit of naughty pony
