I currently feed my boy Simple Systems Instant Linseed and Brewers Yeast, and Clivers and Marigold Flowers.

Equidermis Plus has been highly recommended to me (thanks Lizzie) and I just wondered what results people have had with it?

Ingredients
Micronised full fat linseed, brewer's yeast, cold pressed linseed oil, nettle leaves, burdock root, chamomile flowers, clivers, calcium carbonate.

It is great stuff but when you have two rather large hairy beasts, it is expensive.

I have had very good results with linseed, brewyers yeast, black sunflower seeds and last but very important, clivers.

I get the first two from Charnwood Milling in 25 k sacks - cheapest but you can also get from Simple Systems or Feedmark. Clivers are from Feedmark, and BSS I get from my feed merchant.

If I had one small horse/pony, I would probably use the Equidermis.

All the stuff I mix up is in Equidermis - BY, linseed and clivers and the BSS and linseed provide the omega 3 and 6 oils.

I also tried Skratch - did help but the horses stank of cat pee especially when they got hot.
