What do you think of her?

I dont know what it is but there is somethign about her confo i dont like.. not sure if it is the picture but she looks a tad straight hocked.

She looks ok to me, nothing to special but ok, I would wonder why they have her in a 3 ring gag bit with the reins on the bottom ring ... she must be strong?

have to agree with last post Ion confo 'm afraid - too long in the back for me. BUT handsome is as handsome does so worth a look.

Not good pics, she looks quite ordinary, a bit upside down, no topline and too thick under her neck. at eleven she will be quite set in her ways, depends what you're looking for, she's probably a nice person, sounds like she'll try anything but i don't think she's going to be a world beater. I'd haggle a lot about the price in todays market.

I would be slightly put off by the three ring gag being on the last ring in the ridden pictures but she looks as though she has a nice eye.

I actually quiet like her. Nothing special but there is something appealing about her. Worth a look if that's what you are looking for.

straight in the hock and upright shoulder and fairly long back (although the saddle being too far forward makes it look worse!) other than that nothing too off putting and a realistic price tag for an overall ok looking riding club type (without seeing it ridden!). Personally the bit doesn't worry me as its not fitted properly (on loose looking rein in last pic its already at 45 degree angle!) so as is has about the same action as a snaffle!

OK Horsegirl you evidently know this horse, and from the sounds of things have a beef with the owner?q

I do know the horse but I certainly don't have a beef with the owner, not sure where that came from. She used to belong to my husband (the horse not the owner :) ) but he sold her when we split up. She is up for sale now and I am just wondering whether to buy her back.

So, How do you know her age?

I thought that about the rider too , can someone get her to bring her leg back a bit and relax please (but hey thats from sack'o spuds me)

I am pretty soft - I know if I saw a horse that had lived in my family back up for sale I would snap it up, they might take an offer if they know you know the horse ( what with all those exclamation marks )

Well to be fair, for a 16.1 11 year old mare who has done a bit of everything, if she really is great to handle and is straight forward in everything you ask of her, then I think it's a reasonable price for an alrounder type of horse if it's a true description and she's sound, ok so not the best conformation and looks but neither are alot of horses and as for the bit they choose to use, so what, if she does the job and would suit mother/daughter/teen, it seems reasonable, not cheap but not expensive neither.

No worries, just a case of written word being misconstrued with the "horse is nearer 14 comment"
If you like the horse then make an offer.
