What do you think of his condition?

I would of got more and better photos, but just needed a quick photo.

What do you think of this horses weight?

He is 18 year old!!! Please remember this when posting comments.

He is getting fed to build his weight up again, as he lost the weight through lack of grass.

I know the image is poor quality, but it was just my phone camera, and it was under artificial light too.

I'm getting a Spillers representative out, to weigh him and comment on his condition for another opinion.

If requested I could get another photo tomorrow in the daylight so you could see more

I looked at the picture and had the following impression(before I read your post). He is an older horse and has been very powerful and well muscled in his day. He is loosing condition and somthing needs to be done. (a stitch in time ,and all that). I have found that a switch towards the higher oil diets can give wonderfull results and cant reccomend Equjewel highly enough.(people are going to think I am a salesman for them the way I bang on about it).As they get older they do tend to become a bit lighter,and he certainly doesnt look bad at all. I would just like to see a bit more reserve fat on him going into winter.
