he's thirteen, this was last spring on his first ride back into work after having the winter off. In the summer months he is worked every day quite strenuously but in the winter he barely gets ridden because we don't have the facilities :(
 
Pretty much impossible to tell without side and face on shots. All I can tell from your pic is that he looks like a lean mean running machine!
 
It's difficult to do a confo with pictures like this. He looks a little upright at the front and lacking in shoulder. I have to say I thought he was a youngster, he does look young in that picture, and I was going to say once his chest fills out he'd have a better shoulder but oops! lol!

There's actually quite a lot to like about him. I like his neckset and would love to see him without a saddle on as it 'looks like' he has a good topline. Guesswork though, I'm just tying to imagine him side-on and without tack.

is this any use? i doubt is because all you can see is his messy tail:rolleyes: it's the best I can find for now though.

this is the closest to a front on i can find. I can't really figure it out though i think it is front on and he's just looking away from the camera?

sorry for the lack of usable photo's, I have hundreds of him but they're all either headshots or riding photo's :rolleyes: if I can though i'll get some decent ones tomorrow
 
They're still rubbish :D but a little better. He does have the nice topline I was expecting and he is as narrow as I was expecting and he does have a nice neck IMO. I like him, he's quite similar to one of my tiny TBs who is pretty narrow also.
 
He looks TB x Welsh or some other nativey type. But then my little full TB looks kinda ponyish too, well size wise anyway, she's a real mass of muscle and a little speed demon! What is he?
 
Hence the narrowness of him then. My tiny TB is actually the foal in my avatar picture. She was a really stocky foal but is quite petite as an adult. She's 7 years old now and has a hind end to to put some IDs to shame and the rest of her, although petite, is pure muscle. She's one of my favourites (if you couldn't tell :D )
