What do you think of my girl?

As title really, just curious as to what people think of my girl. Obv i worship the ground she walks on etc :p And i know i look a bit big for her.. Shes 14h 6yr old Welsh X Arab, and im 5ft7 and weigh just under 8st- its my long legs that make me look too tall for her :rolleyes::o
Thinking of doing some local dressage shows on her this year, maybe even some little SJ comps if i can get the courage!! (oh and obv overcome the fact that *GASP* im an ADULT and shes a PONY) ;)

She is a pretty girl. Don't worry about the fact your a adult on a pony as logn as you & you mare are happy then thats all that matters, just go & have fun. If it makes you feel better I am an adult 5ft7 & have a 13.3, 14.1, 14.2 & my mum who is about 5ft5/5ft6 has a 14.2 aswell :p
 
Very pretty horse, she is overbent though and not tracking up, ride her more forward and think poll at the highest point and you'v got a nice little dressage horse there!

Nice to know there are others the same! I constantly feel like im being judged for owning a pony and not a horse.. or because she is 8 inches shorter than everyone elses rides there is no point owning her! :rolleyes:

Yes totally agree, in my defence this photo was taken nearly a year ago! She is a whole lot better with her head now.. should try get some photos taken as she is now really (half wooly bear still though lol)

She is lovely and you look fine from a size point of view. My 2yo will only make 14.2hh but I also have a 16hh TB and 15hh Arab. I must say, my Arab is so round, i used to ride a 16.3hh ID x and my legs looked longer on him than my 15hh Arab :o
 
She's very nice and you look fine on her.

I find that as I ride a bigger horse, is that anything smaller(pony) looks so, so tiny when we ride alongside and I look down at the rider below. When I'm stood on the ground though and I have an arm slung over a cuddly pony, they don't? Very odd that and one of lifes mysteries?
 
I compete a 14hh pony and most spectators hold their breath when I jump him coz he's scary. My 14.3 most adults would take my arm off for! I'm over 25 though how much over depends who i'm talking to lol.
 
Aaaawwwww thanks for all the lovely comments! Heres a more recent pic of Monroe, think even this one is a few months old now though! Shes def turned a corner this year, we can even canter without going 100mph and motorbiking :p Very much still a work in process kind of pony, but im very proud of her and me as i broke her myself and shes tried her heart out for me all the way :D
