He looks nice - a little dipped in the back in one of the side shots - but I really like his markings.

Is he likely to grow out of these? Not that I'm in the market at this price though.

Unusual, not my kind of thing though. I'd like to see a proper confo shot of him to really see what he's worth.

Methinks they are selling/pricing him on the basis of his colour, not his quality.

His spots will remain, in fact Appy's will sometimes get spottier over time, but this does seem to be the darker more solid coloured ones. I think he is too tall, they must be over 14:2 to be registered, but 16:1 at a year old is too tall IMHO. Can't see enough of his confo to say, and at a year old this could change a bit.
