what do you think of these eyes?

Could I suggest you take some more in daylight without the flash because the dark conditions and photography may be making them look a bit murky and red.

Didnt think of that, in the day light it could make a huge difference!
 
It goes without saying really, but if you are genuinely worried that your horse has an eye problem, get it looked at by your Vet. :)

Vet is coming to see horse today for other reasons and I am going to get him to check the eyes.

Not my horse, only been with me 2 weeks but had other suspect behavior with me and ridden issues before he came.

It looks like one has the pupil dilated and one doesn't. I can't tell any more from those particular photos.
 
If you take the horse from the stable into daylight do his pupils get smaller? (Presuming you get some daylight today :( )
