I'm sitting at work bored looking throuh horsemart and wondered what you though of these. In a couple of months time I should be in the position to start looking a bit more seriously but of course I already spent time daily looking at ads!

Thanks! No, I'm not after a grey but these were the only two under 4k that took my fancy!!! At the moment unfortunatly it is only dreaming because although I have the mney for a new horse I don't currently have a spare stale but hopefully in 2 months or so I will.

Do not think much of either I am afraid. In No1 I cannot believe they have used 3 dodgy photos and not a single decent one. Cannot see conformation.

No 2 Do not like it at all I think it looks really odd with very big joints and a big head. Its hocks look huge. I think you can find something a bit classier than both of those.

Snowhawk, the first is a gelding and I want a mare lol and I did have a look at the second one you posted before but didn't bother posting it as it was sold lol but she was really nice!!!!

Exactly what I was going to say.

I would not limit yourself to one colour and instead look at the quality first. I must admit to being put off Greys by how ridiculously over priced they are, just because of their colour. A well made grey, say of the sports horse variety, seem to be priced twice the value of their bay counterparts. Although, I would be surprised if they all sold at those prices..

I'd like to see them making more of a bascule rounding over the jump at that age than going over it well clear with their heads stuck in the air. I liked the 16.2 advertised in the bottom left of the first one. The second one doesnt even look like a warmblood to me, heavily built and something seriously wrong with the offside hock.

Hi

I own the first mare (which shadowmonkey came to see), thank you all for your comments.

Sophie

ps- i didn't price my horse based on her colour!

I think the first horse is quite good, nice little jump. But why post if you have no intention of buying

I think we should all be careful with what we say as this is a public forum and open to anyone and as we have seen the owners of these horses could very well be on here and read these comments some of which are very unnecessary.
