What do you think of these horses?

Out of the two I like the first one more, however it depends what you want to do with it?
The reason I don't like the second one is (and it could just be the photo's) but when you look at him he looks like 2/3 different horses put together. His front end really doesn't fit his body. People always say when buying a horse you should look at it in 3 different parts; front, middle and back end and they should all fit together nicely - to me he doesn't.
With the first horse I don't like the pictures of him jumping and they don't make him look as though he has as much talent as the advert claims, however they could just be poor photo's.
Hope that helps

I'd like an allrounder to do RC type competitions with, and hopefully some affiliated eventing (just low level- BE80 and 90 probably)
Interesting what you say about the second one; i will analyse the photos some more

I did think the bay didn't seem to be very neat in front in the jumping photos, but hoped it was just bad photos?
Thanks

I love the first one, but it is your choice.
Not so kean on appaloosa's, they are lovely, but just horses I have never been fans off.
And bays are my fave! along with palominos and greys!!

I love the look of the Appy, just because he reminds me of a mare we have at the RS who, despite being a bit of a funny looking horse, is sooo kind and gentle and is perfect for everyone! I know nothing about conformation, and I'm nowhere near skepitcal enough for horse-buying, but I just like his little face.

Agree, prefer the first one, the appy doesn't look right...very big up front and small behind and think price is to high..agree 1st one doesn't look particularly tidy in the front legs jumping, but would def go and see it and see if its the same 'in the flesh'

Not impressed with the first ones front legs, not tidy enough for my liking, too dangly.

I do agree the first thing I looked at on the second one was that huge front and little rear end, but could that be helped by proper work at all?

Not overly impressed with the first one, although at that price he's worth a look. Don't like the dangly legs.

I like the Appy - I think his colouring is making his back end look a bit odd and maybe a trait of his breed? Looks like a nice type though. If he's close by its worth asking to see more photos & seeing in the flesh.

I really love the look of the second one (even if it is an appaloosa (sp)) and would definately go an have a look see.

Don't like No. 1 at all.
