To look at I think I know someone with that bridle. You're probably right that its not amazing quality but if she keeps it clean and oiled she'll be fine.

Well, no, for that price it's not going to be the best quality, but I have equally as cheap bridles for everyday.

Irrelevant but I like the 3 different spellings of crystal/crystals in the same ad :)

roodolph - ha ha I hadn't noticed, other than that they can't get it right!
i am 'dissapointed' with their lack of 'beautifull' spelling
reassuring though, thank you to you both.

As long as she looks after it, it should be fine, but if you're (understandably) bothered about it, why not buy the bridle and better quality reins, cheek pieces and a headpiece separately? Depends on budget though, I suppose. :D

I noticed those mistakes too! Just can't help myself (I'm a teacher)

I bet your niece will love the bridle (and hope the horse isn't too embarrassed by it)

:)

I LOVE IT :D
I want one :p
(does it show that im 14 )
If your worried about the leather, could she not take the noseband and browband off and put them on another bridle?

Oh wow Pricklyflower, I realise that site is aimed at kids...so I am quite ashamed to say that in 2 minutes I have already mentally spent about £250...
and I am 20.

I was going to get one with blue padding for my little pony. Having only ever had big horses who would never forgive me for coloured bridles and bling I thought I'd treat myself - this sort of this wasn't around when I was a kid and on ponies!

I've bought cheap £20 bridles off ebay before and tend to soak them in a bucket of neatsfoot for 24 hours. Take it apart, totally submerge all the pieces and then lay out on newspaper to air dry after 24 hours. Then I just treat them like any other bridle. Saying that, one of my best buys was a £30 ebay comfort bridle. When it arrived, it was lovely leather and didn't need my neatsfoot treatment. Lasted years and years and always cleaned up like new. Only had to replace it this year as horse ran off whilst I was tacking up with reins around neck and headcollar/leadrope and bridle trailing behind him. The bloomin thing trod on the throatlash and snapped it. Have never found another one on ebay, don't think the seller is around anymore.

Just looked on the pink equine site and in the sale area they have black/pink pony bridles for £29.95

I've ordered so much stuff from there, for my daughter and ME!!

If you go to their home page and choose their "pro" range, there's some more "tasteful" stuff for adults :D
