what do you think of this bridle

Hard to tell but the leather doesn't look as supple as some and the straps are too thin for my liking
 
You didn't tell me that when I ordered the breastplate

However, it seems I may be in the market for a hunter bridle, so I shall bear that in mind...

I had one - it was brittle and snapped after about 3 weeks... avoid like the plague would be my thoughts...

You can get a clip bridle from ebay that has rounded brass clips, i got one years ago and its still going strong, there are a few shops who do them BIN for about £30.... much better quality.
 
Apparently it is the leather that Heritage use and is a better than Foreign leather but not great leather. At £20 what would you honsetly expect? It would be OK as a work bridle but look at it regularly.
 
I bought a heritage comfort bridle, after three weeks it was cracking and looked cheap and nasty (was cleaned/oiled reguarly) wouldn't bother again
 
GFS Advantage bridles don't clean up well either....I suppose they are functional, that's about all you can say really. They are cheap & nasty & try as you might they don't shine up....
