Yeah and he`s been backed and brought on a bit, i backed two of mine last year and have one to do next summer so I`d like something a bit easier :)

Ha!!! I may ring and see if he`s still there... afterall Beau needs a friend and 3 horses is an odd number, best to even it out a bit!:D

I like the look of him, a lot! But I think he looks weak in his back, doesn't make a nice shape over a jump and I don't think he uses himself properly - so although I'd say go and see him, I think he'll need lots of work (schooling etc) which may be right up your street, but not mine! Let us know if you go....!

Yeah, I wasnt a fan of the jumping photo but I`ve put it down to his and not having done much .....
I`ll have to have a word with my OH and see if I`m allowed another :)

He is a handsome horse!

I would be wary though.. He is very very cheap for a connie even a young one and they have said he's not a novice ride a couple of times.. I know he's 4 but they haven't put it down to his age in the ad. He could have issues?! After all you get what you pay for and they look like dealers who probably know the worth of connies.

I get a feeling from the ad that he may be a little tricky :)

as long as you dont want to do M&M s. he is over height for a registered connie so should be registered in the appendix or sports register. at 4 i wouldnt expect him to be suitable for a novice! but he will probably need quite a bit of work on the flat, and plenty of firm consistant handling. looks quite nice though you wont tell if he has attitude unless you go see and try........

Would have been nice to see him in a decent saddle, the one he has on makes him look long in the back, and dosnt show off his shoulder properly, the jumping picture really isnt good, but looking at said position of rider i doubt he is helping the young lad alot...however he is jumping a reasonable height and with work and a different rider could maybe pop a decent sized fence very nicely :)
Looks like a nice sort, just looks green and in need of schooling on...worth a look at that price :)

I love the seller's name!

Hilarious isnt it , i had a good giggle at it :D

My 4yo isn`t a novice ride, she`s totally bomb proof in traffic but can be sharp and does have her moments. I wouldnt class any 4yo as suitable for a novice tbh. As for price, quite a few horses down this way are below what they`re worth, my pure bred CB with good lines cost £900!!!!
This sounds like I`m being bitchy but I`m really not lol xxxx

yip not interested in M&M I`ve just always wanted a connie since i was a little girl.

I think I may ring about him later...he`s probably gone though he`s been on adhorse quite a while.

He looks lovely and from reading has spirit. Go for it. But be cautious.

Looking at the saddle perhaps I would be worried his back has taken a bit of a pounding, it doesn't look to fit either the rider or the horse properly and the rider looks as if he rides quite heavy. This is my opinion which isn't always right ;)

Handsome looking chap, decent price, worth a look all day long.

Wouldn't be put off by the photos, you need to see a horse work and jump in the flesh.

Looks like a fun and useful little horse.

I think he`s priced right for what he`s done, i`ve been looking at connie`s and yes they`re a nice horse but the prices I`ve seen for some youngsters who havent proved a thing is ridiculous!

I wouldnt know if he is right for me obviously unless I seen him etc, but I`m not planning on doing BSJA or anything; local shows and lots of hacking and schooling is all i want from any horse :)

I like!!!!! Definately agree with a proper saddle and rider I'm sure you'd see a different horse! Worth a phone call..infact worth a trip to Wales I'd have thought!!!!:D
