Basically wobblers is where the nerve that ruins through the spine is damaged in someway, most likely caused by an accident or a fall. An x ray will provide you with the best idea of if his spinal cord is comprimised in any way.

It can also happen whent hey are in the womb and lying in effectively the wrong position within the womb.

What does he do with his back legs when you ask him in hand to reverse in a straight line?
