Description -
17hh, 12yo hanoverian mare, alrounder, £1100
She is a lovely horse who is out going and gentle. She is good to shoe and has no stable vices and whilst i have owned her she has only been in horse box once and there were no problems. She has been show jumped in the past. Good in traffic but i would say is not a novice ride although she is safe.She will make someone a very proud owner and will be sadly missed but work commitments forces sale.

After a horse for a friend and came across this one, she was ideally looking for something younger that she could bring on, could you bring on a 12yo?
 
I dont really like her type and she doesnt look built for soundness- why is she cheap?
Think you could find something younger and a bit more suitable, would she consider an ex-racer?
 
Yes, we looked at one about 6 weeks ago but decided against it (i posted on here about it) not sure if you saw my post. Hence, to answer your question, yes, she would consider an ex-racer, we are just having trouble finding one!
 
I second Bossanova. She looks like shes got her head in one county and her bum in another! Her bum doesnt look too impressive, infact her whole nether region looks awful

She looks like a broodmare at weaning- rather poor, not much topline/muscles.

Mind, she does look to have a pretty face. The pics aren't the best though- I think a visit to see her in the flesh would tell you a lot more.
 
Very poor quarters, in fact very poor!

She may be kept poor because she's a loon - or she just might be difficult to keep condition on. VERY cheap if she's any good at all.

BUT someyime people don't know what they've go tbh, and with a a bit of weight and work she'd probabaly look a lot better. I personally wouldn't want her though..........
 
I wasn't very keen either, v long neck i thought and again as many of you have said, poor condition. Her age didn't really appeal to me either! It's just so hard trying to find a 'project' that's not a total nut-case, that's relatively cheap and isn't the other end of the country!
 
With a bit of condition and top line she would look a hell of a lot better. Tbh if she isn't a total nutter I'd be tempted to give her a go, she has something about her. At that price it's worth a shot?
