What do you think of this horse?

I'd imagine the sellers are looking to get somewhere in the ballpark of £10,000 - £15,000 for her. She is very nice, I agree

.

Do bear in mind what others have said though; Friesians are not greatly sought after in England (although if she is great then I have no doubt she would sell eventually) and for those who say they would buy; just ask them how much they would buy her for? There is a big difference in saying, yes I'd buy her, and yes I'd pay 15 or 20K for her. Having said all of that, SOME people DO have that amount of money and would be willing to spend it on a horse such as this.

She tends to be more of a natural and is not being pushed, she just drops herself down into a shape. At least its not chin on chest overbent shape

But she hasnt got a warmblood neck, for her neck, she is very tight and over-bent.

It's one of the general criticisms of the iberian breeds because often to have the nose on the vertical they have their necks tightened like that by riders who are used to riding warmbloods. You just cant do it on an iberian. It's wrong!!

We have a Fresin on our yard, bought as a 4 yr old, £10K.
She went lame but not majorly but the vet gave the owner a worry when she said they (as a breed) are prone to OCD. May be worth bearing in mind as this one looks to have been worked quite hard for her age.
The mare on our yard is very bright and trainable.
Personally I don't like the high, big head or the high stepping action but that is each to their own.

she is stunning- love her! when i first went "horse shopping" i did search the freisan adverts in this country, but came to the conclusion that the "worst" was still being advertised at around £5k, which was above budget. I wanted to do dressage and ended up with a TB (can do DR & on budget). So, if i had the money and it was between her and a warmblood- would go for a fresian. I think i also saw somewhere that as a breed for dressage their weakness is their canter which needs a lot of work/balance (found it through google).
Price.... £7-10k I would expect.

Does she find the mare in the stable with a bottle of bleach and a sponge?

Sorry, couldn't resist.

What is OCd?

I have a 3 yo friesian gelding. I have to say that although im bias everybody i know agrees, he is the most wonderful person. he has just started work & although only 3 has show maturity well beyond his years. He is an extremely quick learner & never stops trying. I imported him as a yearling with good breeding. He moves beautifuly allready & he hasnt been sat on yet. Someone once told me youll never be alone in a field with a friesian & they were right!. They are so inquisitive & kind, I have yet to see him put his ears back at any horse or person. He has neve kicked, bitten or been nasty in ayway....I LOVE FREISIANS!!!
