Mum has phoned up about him and i think we are going to see him on Sunday. Hoping to do BE with him, owner said he finds xcountry no problem and has the scope to do very well, bought for £20,000 from Germany as did alot of big shows over there successfully, but hasnt done much while he has been here. will also do dressage and BSJA if we bought him.

what do you think?

Looks like he has a lovely attitude to both flat work and jumping. Very handsome horse and not a bad price for an 8 year old with a bit of scope and a good temperament. Definitely worth viewing.

All i can say is WOW, hes lovely very very very stunning. He can certainly jump, thats for sure.

And hes got potential, could go quite far, where as the dun (is really really lovely) but can't go as far prehaps?!

this horse looks amazing, a definate go see!!! however does seem cheap as it was brought for £20,000 and is being sold for £8000. i agree with cl_aire that this horse looks like he could go a lot further than the dun.

Lovely looking horse. However, it was for Sale directly from Lauras yard am sure previously, has been for sale for a couple of mnths....? Worth a look though!!

He looks absolutely gorgeous, but I'd be a bit concerned if he was bought for £20 000 and is selling now for £8 000- that's a pretty big drop in price, even if he hasn't done much over where you are.

Making the same point as some of the other posts, what's with the MASSIVE drop in price?? Unless he's owned by someone rich who can afford to lose (sp!) more than half the purchase price it doesn't ring true. Why if he's SO good, which the pics seem to suggest, are they flogging him? Literally! I would question if he doesn't perform at events or something similar - therefore new owners wont find out till takes him competing.

I'm a chestnut fan and this chap doesn't disappoint but I personally would be very cautious although curious.

He is owned by Laura Collett's family. If I remember rightly, the original advert said he was too careful to event at a high level which is what he would have been brought for. I may be completely off the mark, but pretty sure it is the same horse....

Wow, gorgeous boy. And orange too!!!!!
Of course there is the same question as everyone else is asking. I expect you will be asking the same if you go and see him.
You are so lucky,
*Goes off to sulk and drooooooooooool*
