What do you think of this mare?

Just scanning Horsemart, not particularly busy day work-wise, so thought I'd take a look at what was around for the under £1000 catagory which is always 'interesting'.

Anyway... more onto the subject, what do you think of this mare? Is it just me or does the first pic do her no justice? Looks like she needs a lot of work muscling up and feeding.

Fail to understand why something would be so cheap if she is such a lovely honest mare?

I really like her, but then I love thoroughbreds. She looks like she moves nicely and she bascules well over the jump (apart from last pic). She is under weight obviously but apart from that, and her lack of muscle, she is lovely. From what I can see she has quite nice conformation too.

I think that's probably a suitable price for a 13 year old under weight TB. Looks quite sweet to me - jump looked a reasonable size too.

Sometimes people will underprice their horse when they want to encourage more prospective buyers as then it offers the sellers their choice at the best possible home. However, with this horse, I'd say she's probably priced to sell. If she looked better weight wise and wasn't 13 years old and 15.3hh then her price would be higher but she is 13 (not the best age to sell) and she is only 15.3hh (not the best size).

I think she looks really sweet! Obviously needs a bit of extra weight and to build up muscle, but I think she could look stunning. I like her!

I'd have to agree with the above. She looks like a nice sort, good jump and i think she's got a very pretty face but for a 13 year old, underweight TB i wouldn't pay any more for her either, and i love TB's.
