She's a 5yo, was bread to be a show pony but seems to love jumping, I think she's enjoying a career change! She belongs to a friend (who bred her and is very proud of her) so sadly I can't take credit for her but I was just so impressed with her yesterday but didn't know if it might be a case of rose tinted glasses. She's been to two unaff shows jumping 2 clear rounds each time and went in the Novice class at the second but had a fence down due to my numpty piloting skills.

seeing as the pony is only 5, its best for her to wear boots to generally protect her legs!

why 5 and not 15? Once upon a time, very few horses or ponies wore leg protection of any kind. this included hunters, eventers, showjumpers and your normal 'run of the mill' type of equine. All of mine did just dandy without, but maybe horses back in the 60s were more careful!
