I have been offered a 4 yr old TB mare, she is 15.2hh, very well bred for NH racing, but never went into training as too small, not even been backed. She is currently turned away to grow up a bit, and will be sold in march/april time. I could have her for £600 if I wanted her. She has very nice conformation, is a typical pretty mare though, but I think will grow into something a bit special.

I really don't need anymore horses, but she might be a nice project to run along side Jerry.

What do you think? Fair price? Should I be naughty and buy her?

(Means I definatly have to sell some ponies if I do

I would buy her and keep all the ponies !

Any pics of her ?

As you know i bought a ex racer and was the best thing i ever done, i bought a toast rack and now he is totally turned round, but a warning, i did buy him to sell on but OH would never let me sell him now, even im too attached to sell him !

I am very tempted, Spooks should be gone by april so I would technically have the room, plus might have more grazing this summer.....

Depens what you want her for I guess? I think it is quite relieving in a way that she has been allowed to mature and has not raced, at least she shouldn't have injuries?
I am sure you are sensible and will run through all the pre-purchase checks....just see how you feel once you've checked her out a bit more????

I would see how she developed, but hopefully event her and then sell on.

Oh absolutely, buy! Not many horses you could buy for £600 these days.

Shame you will have to sell some of the ponies but I’m sure you will find them good homes.
