What do you think og this mare?

Look her BE record up as the advert says 'Placed every time out at ODEs'. I wouldn't want her from that video - she looks exhausted and not much fun to ride. But I am not your mum and hopefully she has changed a bit in 2 years.

There are adverts for her at £8K, and £6.5K. She was advertised at Exmoor Eventing for £7k in 2010

Yeah I know, a bit dodge right!? But she is not anywhere near that much now - I'm hoping the girl is just desperate (moving and can't take with so needs to get rid).

The girl didn't even know she had done any BE!! I think she means since she's had her but I can't find any evidence.. She's cheap and local and looks like a sensible sort which is why I think she's worth a look at least..

she looks very on the forehand. Also some interesting video editing at one point!

Yup yup, two riders in one!! ;-) Totally agree r.e. on forehand too, so did the owner.

I think there are issues and risks here, but it's hard to find something that sounds at all useful for less than 8/9/10k!

Nice sort, but looks a bit flat to me & agree with previous poster re: looking exhausted. I also had to rewind video as thought I was seeing things - interesting editing! Lots of spurring which for a 5 year old would concern me. (realise she's not 5 now) That said if good price & nice person then could be perfect for what she's wanted for.

Agree, if she was for me, she wouldn't really appeal. I do think she is attractive though and her like her jump.

I also saw this guy..

My Ma doesn't like coloureds though..

Feisty little thing isn't he! Quite green too. You could have a lot of fun with him.

Other one looks safer although your mum may enjoy a bit of a challenge? No such thing as a bad colour ;)

Do you think? He looks more forward but I wouldn't say feisty. He still comes to a fence in a rythem.

This is what I like about the mare though, my mum really likes to be steady into a fence (too much wall jumping out hunting) and if that isn't their natural way of going she will take a pull when maybe not needed (my horse is quite quick into a fence, I sent her hunting on him and they bit the dust really bad!!:( )

I love how this boy jumps the skinnies though, very honest when he sounds and looks quite green.

She looks on the forehand , fixed in the gob and very wooden.

That said, she seems to have some self preservation, seems quiet enough from those videos and as a hack/hunter for you Mum I would therefore say worth a look, with the usual caveat of have a vetting!

She does look a bit laboured, but she is assessing exactly what she has to jump and staying in a nice rhythm, so I'd say def worth a look. She's likely to fire up a bit out hunting anyway, could be the making of her!

Very downhill. And not a horse I would want to ride in to a fence - despite her happily jumping them. There is simply no oomph. Joints are also 'appley'.

But I appreciate that the video is two years old, and she'll be fitter and stronger.

Guess the best person to judge though is your mum. If she likes her and ticks all the boxes then that's all that matters.

Oh what a shame! she looks a sweet sort but has no oomph, looks bored and they only show jump jump jump jump jump!! Wheres the coloured poles too? Not sure i'd want a horse thats probably had the legs jumped off of it! x Might just be a bad advert but seems a shame. Doubt she'd be fast enough to event either, sorry, cant remember what you said you'd want her for.

Let us know how you get on though x

I think she looks nice enough, can certainly jump and seems like she would be a nice hackable sort.

That said, I do prefer the coloured, far more my type and he's a boy :)

I think she looks sweet but knackered in each clip which makes my suspicious mind wonder if they have had to knacker her out before filiming due to poss being strong or something - make sure you see her fresh from field not after they have taken her out for a couple of hours or lunged her to death.

Yep! Placed 23rd (BE90) and 6th (BE80T)......oh, and elimated twice in JAS 90s. :(

I would want to know an awful lot of what she had been up to since 2010 to consider looking at her for anything other than a hack to be honest. Pity....nice looking type. Wonder what her story is.
