What do you think the best rug is for drying a horse quickly? Im thinking of buying a thermatex, but i know that with all the new rugs which are available on the market is this still the best one for drying a horse quickly?

What do you use?

thanks

We use Thermatex rugs on ours and they are brilliant. Well worth the money. We've had ours for years and years and they still come up like new.

I absolutely agree - had our thermatex rugs for 5 years and they still look fab - we use them at shows as they are so smart. They do a brilliant job - they cool the horse down and keep him warm as well! I love them and if and when these eventually wear out, I'd buy another. Well worth the money. I've not found the lack of cross surcingles a problem with our horses.

I have both a Thermatex & a Wetherbeata Thermo-cell.

The Thermo-cell is every bit as good, has cross surcingles as standard, and are half the price. They do several different colours, but not as many as Thermatex.

I would recommend you look at both before making a choice.

I've had the shire's thermatex type rug for a number of years it wicks brilliantly and is relay warm for travelling in the winter.
I'd also recommend the horseware cooler it wicks really well and isn't as heavy as the shires one great for autumn mines got one hidden surcingle it doesn't move..
