I personally think that's an alright price IF you can deal with these "issues", hey at least they are being upfront and honest! It really depends on how easy it would be for you to give him company in the field (should be easy enough), stable ( could be a prob with diff turn out times in at night etc) and hacking (may want to hack out on own. So perhaps a companion would be ideal but that wouldn't be so good with the hacking issue, unless that could be resolved.

You need to realistically think about how it will affect you and your "life" with this horse....time and financially more consuming?

17HH - massive
thoroughbred - hotblooded, quick as a knife
12yo - set in his ways
needs experienced knowledgable home - needs retraining from scratch
not novice ride - terrifying under saddle
has seperation issues - terrifying on the ground

And they want to someone pay them £800...?

My 18hh has seperation issues - you just learn to deal with them. As long as you know what you are up against we cope fine. He has too many other plus points!

I think it also depends on to what extent the anxiety happens. If you can't do anything, even school or go to local shows then thats a different story they just become a chore.
