I'm moving my youngster next week to a yard that's recently been taken over. The previous owners completely wrecked it before they left - broke most fences, left sh*ite everywhere and took literally EVERYTHING, even the top stable doors with them! TBH it's in a complete mess at the mo, it has no lights or electrics, damaged fencing and gates, piles of muck everywhere, just completely run down but the new YO is lovely and doing her best to retify it. She only has herself and 2 other liveries there at the mo, 3 inc me when my boy moves. My youngster can live out 24/7 with another yearling in their own large field, fair grazing, next to other horses for £22 a week inc hay 7 days a week. Im mending all their field fencing and gates and generally making sure that they will be happy enough in their own field. It has the potential to be lovely with a hell of alot of work which will take time and money, its in a great location, use of olympic school down the lane, good price, and as there's hardly anyone there at the mo I've pretty much got a fair say over what I want for my yearling...but it's just in such a state
!!! In my position what would you do, move in or find somewhere else???
