This mare is 13 is due to foal second week of april and am bit concerend she huge!! vet coming tomorrow but just thought would get some more opinions,last owner says she did carry last foal big but vet emntioned poss too much fluid round foal?? apart from possibility of twins,to be honest pics dont show how big she is

Thanks was begining to think i was just bit parnoid lol she seems fine in herslef although she has started to seperate herself from the herd, oh well vet will take look tomorrow so fingers crossed

Sorry, she's huge. Strange she is separating herself from the herd now. My mare only did this a few weeks before she foaled. Let us know about the Vet's prognosis.

Thanks for replies will update tomorrow once she has seen vet, we brought her home tonight as she has been living out and she has puffed and panted her way into stable all tucked up for night now.

well she has been pokd prodded and scanned and vet cant find a reason for her size!, they agree she is very big but very healthy so they going to keep an eye on her for now

im having the same concerns with my mare she is big and due middle of feb, she is even waddleing worse than i was near the end of my pregnancy and she has months to go!!!
