11 yrs old 16hh ex racer (last raced 19th may this year!) Just a general what do you think looks/colour/confo really? I know he needs fattening up a bit!

I dont think they are too upright at all, especially in the first pic. depends what you want him for. I think he's lovely, maybe a bit long in the back, but what do I know?

He does have long legs doesnt he!! He is polish bred and a very successful hurdler (well was should i say!) I have got some plans for him in the future after he has chilled from the busy life he has led up until recently!!

One bizzarre thing about him is that he is actually metallic!!!!!!!!!!!!! When the sun shines on him he has a pearlescent sheen over him!!!

He looks like a typical ex racer that still looks racing fit, takes a while for them the adjust to a new diet and exersize etc.
Eventually he will change colour, shape and look like a different horse by next year. For a horse that is bred for speed and endurance then his confo is typical of a race horse.

Its good to take photos of how they develop over time, good luck with him, be interesting to see how he looks over winter.
