ive had my mare about 9 months now, she came to me in summer looking like this...

after lots of hard work and careful feeding she now looks like this, even in winter!...

can you believe how much her neck and chest has chunked up in such a short time?!
what do you think about her weight now?
could she do with more or is she good as she is?
 
She looks great. I love the blue bucket footwear in the first photo!

She looks about right for her stamp, keep her as she is and adjust feeding up or down as needs be according to her exercise programme.

Well done.
 
What a poor, sad looking wee soul she looked. Big difference now though, you have done a great job. I think you have her just about right weight wise. Lovely colour too, but i am a bit biased. you have a lovely shine on her now, not the mud monster one obviously lol.
 
Looks great, you have done a fab job. What happened to the other blue bucket, didnt she have a matching pair haha!! She will look on top form this Summer.

can you believe that it only took a handful of alfa a lite and half a scoop of calm and condition pasture mix twice a day to get this?
shes not even a poor doer!
dread to think what she was/wasnt fed when with her previous owner....
 
hahaha shes always been a bit odd with standing in buckets!
when she came she had no energy at all, and had a very weak personality..
now shes always ears forwards and alert and is always extremely cheeky!

shes also like a different horse to ride, when she came she was so weak, all muscles in the wrong places, stiff and not supple at all. she now happily walk, trot and canters in a nice outline, flying changes, leg yield etc

so so so pleased about how shes coming along!
