Hello...

With the help of Hannah9000 I have now got a website... www.egerdenfarmstud.co.uk I have got quite a bit set up on there now, still more to add / edit but would really appreciate any comments, things you would like to see. Also we will soon be adding to the breeding FAQ's page...Please post any questions you would like to see on the site...How do I know when my mare is ready to cover etc...Thought it would be quite nice to have this as not alot of stud websites offer advice to mare owners as far as I know...

Anyways - All comments much appreciated.

I would say the writing is a bit large on most of the pages. Also, on the stallions page you really do need some photos. If i was looking for a stallion i would want a decent photo to show conformation and at least one ridden/moving photo before i went any further in finding out about him. If you made the writing much smaller you could also say more about the stallions- again, if i was looking i would want more info than one paragraph.

A minor point but you have also spelt temperament wrong!

Thats just my observations and opinion

Hi teddy...

Thanks for your comments - I have asked for Hannah to put on pedigree charts for the stallions and I am in the process of taking new photo's and videos of the stallions - Photo's we do have are a bit old now, I intend to have conformation shot, moving shot plus jumping picture, also video of them all moving and jumping loose + some pics put in the gallery of some of their stock - It is still a work in progress but I will get there eventuallly. I should have mentioned in first post about stallions page especially needing more adding to it!

Oh and very embarassed about the spelling mistakes - Thank you for spotting it!

Other than that what do you think??

Also... I have changed the font and the size of the text like 10 times cos everyone keeps telling me that their computers show it differently, not sure what to do really, I wanted something a bit fancier but everything I use seems to be too hard to read unless it's enormous. I shall make text smaller again though!

Good colour scheme and layout. When more info added and all pages complete it will be great.

Font is fine, very clear. Is it ariel? something like that is best because of the easiness to read. I think theres only about 5 or so fonts that are supposed to be easy to read- for poor eyesight, dyslexics, etc. Its just too big imo!

Maybe just expand on the services bit- what facilities you have and sell the standard of care a bit more?

Right, have now changed size of font and also added some video's - 1 of horse for sale, one of our 3 year old stallion at his first proper show today for his stallion page and 1 of my little princess in the gallery page jumping at her 2nd show. They're not great video's but at least there is something there now.

Haven't had any suggestions of FAQ's for the breeding page... : (

Does anyone else have any suggestions?
