I recently changed how I graze my pony by splitting the fields she shares with my 2yo into 4 equal(ish) paddocks & rotating them when the grass gets really low in their current paddock. It's worked really well to keep ontop of their weight but with the grass getting chance to grow back in the other fields, their diet hasn't suffered.
The result is that my pony has reached a nice, even weight. She's not fat but she's not supposed to be thin & fine either.
Now her saddle slips. It was fitted kind of hastily as a replacement by a saddler trying to do us a favour when we were robbed on my previous yard. At the time my pony was really fat, so the saddle is quite wide.
Now, when wearing her "thin" girth & having it as tight as it could go, her saddle slips sideways unless I sit perfectly balanced (not easy, as I've been out of riding for a few months).
Money is an issue but I know I need a saddle that fits asap so I decided to look into synthetic saddles. I found the Wintec New 250 All Purpose saddle in the Robinsons catalogue at £240 & would be really chuffed if this saddle is good & I can get one of these. I have a couple of saddlers near me that I can go & check out too but I was wondering..
Does anyone on here have a Wintec synthetic saddle/know anyone that has/got any feedback from them they can tell me? I want to make sure it'll be a good saddle that I won't regret buying before I part with my money.
Thanks
