Looking for a bigger pony to jump and occasionally hunt for teenage daughter?

She looks to have a really good jump but I would want to find out about the napping as this could be a problem if she will not go alone hacking or possibly inclined to be difficult at the start xc, hanging to the entrance sj, quiz the owners before going and falling for the pony.

She looks great but also agree about napping, they could put that she only naps a bit but could be a mega napper if you know what i mean?

I am always wary of ads that claim the horse can be bathed!!!! Its a given, and how often do we bathe our horses?

Owners have said her napping used to be back up and refuse to go forward but napping is now a little encouragement needed to go forward at the beginning of a hack by herself but is then fine for the rest of the hack and the occasional leaning her body towards the direction of her friends if they are stood in a different area to her.

I'd go and see her, make sure you get them to ride first though so you can assess the severity of the napping for yourself

i wouldnt touch another nappy horse with a bargepole, although its honest of them to include it in the ad. Its a buyers market, there are better ponies for less money imho.

I think you could probably get more for your money! Really look around at lots and lots of ads first! She could be lovely, but i don't think i'd pay that for her!
